Exclamation I got the ATE's

I put them in about a couple hundred miles ago, but I drove pretty hard on them. They work really well (coupled with Porterfield R4S pads) and even make the car look better with the cool eliptical slot design. Anyway, if you have any questions, just reply.

Drive Safely,

I've had the ATE's on front for about 10,000 miles now with 0 problems. I really like them so far, but I don't get on them that hard yet.

I have a European M3 3,2 supercharged. 515 hp at the flywheel.
I use Ate powerdiscs in the front and rear.
The front pads are from Pagid RS 19, and the rear pads are from Pagid RS 9.
The one and only problem is with the noise coming out of the discs when I drive softly. If I push the brakes, no sound comes.

I love my ATE! other than the rotors rusting, I love it! I have the Ate power disc for the front and bmw stock rotors in the rear with metal master brake pads all around.

Hi Jerry, That's some list of mods! Tell me, since youve had the Zimmerman Cross drilled rotors, why are you replacing them, ie, were they unsatisfactory in some way? And second, I didnt see that you have forced induction, so why then would you want/need an Adjustable Rate Fuel pressure regulator?

the zimmerman CD rotors i have had for about a year now... and... it is warping a little bit~ im not unsatisfied... just want to try everything out!

as for the fuel pressure regulator~ you don't reallie need to have force induction to have it! it just gives me the juice when i am at high RPM~

Jerry, With forced induction, you need it because the stock computer program fuel maps dont allow enough enrichment under WOT. But since you dont have forced induction, you are implying that whatever program youre using isnt rich enough under WOT or high rpms as you say..What I dont understand is why your program module isnt providing you with enough fuel...We know that if you are going beyond stock equipment in supplying substantial amounts of additional air to your manifold, your standard fuel program will need some help...What are you using in your case which makes this necessary? Also, with a Rising Rate Fuel regulator, it works because it only comes on at WOT, when you are running only in Open Loop, so the DME isnt going to choke on the additional fuel being measured by your O2 sensors. But if yours isnt a RR design, then how do you keep the additional fuel from screwing up your closed loop measurements, causing CE lights? Just trying to get a better understand how youre using it...

How do you know when your rotors are warping?

Thanks
Mark

You go Paul! That is some list of mods. But there is nothing to indicate the need for a new regulator. But I'm just an engineer, what do I know.

Rotor warpage is felt as a plusing through the pedel, and / or by a possible vibration in the steering wheel.
