 What do you have on ur rear deck?
OK I have a 1993 318is with the nokia setup. By nokia I mean I have all nokia speakers and a microphone (dont ask me it was there when i bought it). I have now added a Solobaric L7 12in. sub in the trunk and have blown out the rear deck speaker completely with the bass. I went to walmart and bought 4in pioneer speakers as a quick fix but the didnt fit into the plastic housing. It left a small space all the way around. So I am thinking about throwing away the plastic housing and just going stupid crazy with a welding torch and sheet metal and putting 6x9's in it. What are my other options? What do you have in your ride? Should I just put the pioneer back in if the small space wont make much of a difference? Also my front speakers wont work? I took them out and they look like they have never been used. I have a pioneer deck. Is there any way to check if the deck is putting power to the speakers?
