www.gixxers.com is the first one that comes to mind. It's too bad you're so far away I'm selling my 87 ex500 for 1k with 13k miles, in excellent mechanical condition. This was my beginner bike and it served me well for exactly 4 years now. Depending on your weight you should definitely start small, a 250, 500, or older 600 if you are on the heavier side (+200lbs no gear).
