| Here's the sequence:
move right foot over to cover both brake & accelerator pedal
brake with toe (& keep it there, but feather it)
clutch in
shift to neutral
clutch out
rev match with heel on accelerator
clutch in
shift to lower gear
clutch out
foot off brake
accelerate
Believe it or not, I shift like this on nearly EVERY downshift! Sounds complex... Just takes a little (okay, a lot) of practice!
Note: I personally don't use my heel and toe, but rather my big to (ball of foot) on the brake & roll the foot over to the accelerator with the small toes... I think most people do it this way.
