LordGop, it's all good I think you made a good decision on your choice for lighting.

Hey who makes the best HID systems (ballasts, bulbs ect) and also is 6000 kelvin the best and brightest to get .... what do bmw's use ??
Here's a quick synopsis from what I've read and from past experience with HID bulbs:

Philips: extremely low failure rate, bulb brightness decreases by only ~10% last quarter of bulb life, dominates nearly 75% of aftermarket HID lighting with most experienced bulb manufacturer

Osram: OEM for BMW, nice bulb color, overall great reliability, few complaints such as bulb color and/or brightness not matching other headlamp

GE: relatively new to the HID bulb market, very few complaints, GE stated that their bulb looses up to 50% of brightness by the last quarter of bulb life

BTW, XenonFactory (www.xenonfactory.com) will warrant the same genuine Philips HID kits that Lava Lighting carried for 5 years. If you find a similar kit for a lower price, they can price match and usually has over 2 dozen kits in stock! Check them out.
