| 850i///M? I was going to the post office today and i saw a 850i///M is there a such thing?

| your all lost, there is a M850csi. thats how it was badged. basicly an m8, but never dubed that. had m everything tho, suspension engine... etc etc

| No production 8 series cars came with an ///M badge on the trunk lid. If you see one like that, it is just an ///M badge someone bought and put on their car.

| The 850csi went for about 130k back in the day. Check out www.clube31.net for more info about the AWESOME 8. And yes, the 850CSI is the closest you will find to an M8. There is no such thing an as M850Xcc or anything of the like. --Dan |

| BMW never made an M8, or M7, every other series though, there was an M car. However, never an M8 or M7. BMW might have built a prototype, but there was never a production version made. |

| If I recall correctly, the 850CSi was BMWs substitute for the M8, much like the 4.6is is for an X5 "M". The 850CSi came with all the goodies that an "M" car would, but without the badging. These cars were EXTREMELY rare however. The 850 and 840 were far more common. You probably saw an 850 with an //M badge stuck on... |

| had to be a aftermarket badge...thats not from the factory... . . ahh id love to have an 850csi.....whats ar ethose going for nowadayz?

| this kid at my school has an 850csi if not its 840. Well i guess the lady wanted to put an M badge on her 8.
