Any info on Pioneer DEH-8400mp

I have a good lead on getting this head unit for my M3. I've seen it in person and it looks really slick. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with the mp3 interface for this unit. Some of the older mp3 units had interface's that weren't user friendly...

What other head units out there would be good?

I only get top of the line stuff so I would appreciate any help..

Well, i just got the 8400MP a few weeks ago. It was very nice, extremely easy to use, nice interface. You can scroll through folders with ease and names are displayed in an easy to read manner. However, It sticks out of the dash a little far, and the silver doesnt compliment my all black interior so I am gonna get an Alpine 7894 instead which is black with amber buttons... which will match perfectly. The only reason i got rid of it was cause it didnt match.

if you are only into the 'top' of the line equipment then you are definetly gonna add a computer to your car... with a dc-dc power supply and a huge hard drive and you will run cobra 4 - mp3car.com for more info and yes - no manufacture will be able to deliver the
efficiency,upgradeability,flexability(im personally running a 160gb hard drive - moving to another drive with almost 2000 music videos on tap) and sound quality 192kbps(which still sucks if you have a good enough sound system) vs. 132/105!!!(128 sounds like real audio in my car) furthermore, dvd,cdrom,movies,music videos, mp3s, planner, wireless internet,etc etc etc
