| New CD Player: Pioneer 8500 So far i like it, i couldnt stand the other players on the market cause they all look like disco balls (kenwood, Alpine, etc.) So I got this baby, The silver compliments the interior nicely, even though i would have preferred a Nakamichi, this is cheaper, more useable and plays mp3's... and just overall a very slick deck (though lacks the stock appearance of the Nak). here it is when on the face flips down to give you access to an abundance of controls to tune the deck, x-over, sub control, sound curves...everything one last closeup oh, and it sounds awesome too... and now i can get 10 albums on a disc ![]()

| i love pioneer, i have a premier right now. i don't like the silver though. i like the black face cuz it blend with the interior. maybe you should get aluminum interior pieces!

| yeah, i would have rather had a black face like the Nak's or even the Sony Blackpanels, but this one is functionally superior to the previously mentioned. It folds up into a nice clean appearance and then fold down to reveal a fairly high res screan with all of the tuning functions you could ever want including all disc info and tuning controls. I may just have to get some silver pedals and a new shift knob to balance out my color scheme ![]() EDIT: After further researching decks, I may sell this one and get the alpine 7894 because it has basically the same functions and matches my interior perfectly, i had been looking for a deck that matched and played mp3's, and had found none previously, I still like this deck a lot though... decisions...
