| 840ci i was downtown this weekend and i saw a black 840ci. first time ive ever seen an 8-series. its a very interesting looking car with its flip-up lights and pointy nose. what do you guys think of them? |

| well they're cool cars, but it weighs a ton and prolly guzzle a lot of gas. I wouldn't mind having one for like a toy car. I wish I had money and build like a twin turbo system or something. But yea.. that thing needs a diet V12 and only about 300 something hp. Eh.. |

| The 840 only had a 4.0 liter v8. It was the 850's that had the v12. There are a few 850's left out there that are incredibly fast. There was a twin turbo on in Bimmer mag a few months back that had lost quite a bit of its weight, and got the twin turbo treatment. Thing was MEAN!

| Dinan made a twin turbo setup for the 850 a few years back. If I am not mistaken 667HP and 666 ft lbs of torque were some numbers I have seen. I think they discontinued production of them though and there was never a true ///M model but the 850csi does have ///M badges on the motor but none on the exterior. The Csi has a 5.6L V12 in it. There was a concept M8 but it never made it to production. The 8er is the best looking bmw made, the car does weigh alot but it is an amazing car.
