Poll: S500 vs 750iL

which one would you rather have out of these 2? i ask this b/c i got a guy here with me that says this 7 has nothing on his (dad's) s class. i dont agree. do you?

he also wants to know which one is more "flossy"

well its not like i've seen them before...i like the looks of the s more though

edit: new 7 or what? because if its new i'd take the S, but if it were one of those pimp alpina 7's thats a different story

between an S500 and a 750il, I'd definately go with a 750il. However, whenever comparing 12 cylinders, I believe the Mercedes S600 has a bit of an edge over the 750il, just my opinion, though.

all i will say is that both are luxury cars. but BMW is a drivers car, and MB is a passangers car.

i'd take the S500. i love mercedes cars hehe. and plus they look better than the new 7. the new 7 is very very ugly. looks like a cadilac or lincoln or something from the bak.

alright...its pointless now b/c you cant see the pictures.i should have clarified. the pole was limited to those two cars, not all 7's and s500's in general. sorry.

if someone can help me to post the pictures i will greatly appreciate.

this really sucks b/c this guy is hanging around, telling me that i am gay and ish and hes bagging on me and about how the s is so much "flossier" than the bmw. u guys helped prove his point. oh if you could only see those pics. f*ck it.

he said that a 750il (e38, the better looking body style) with 20's (hartge nova 7s) and dual exhaust has NOTHING on his (dad's) stock s500. those were the 2 cars in the pics, a stock s and a 7 with hartge rims and dual exhaust.

btw, he says all you guys are car geeks.

he says that the guy with 7 gets no play b/c hes probably 40 yrs old.

he says every time he comes around in his (dad's) "whip", its "like bling bling".

this kid needs to shut up. help me out here.

Id take the S500 over the 750. Its classier. I wouldnt really compare the two cause ones a V12 and ones a V8.

the S is nice, but i think the 7 had a more aggressive look, especially wit the sport package 18"split spoke rims. even the S aero kit doesnt make it look that much more aggressive, other than the rear. just my 2 cents.

new 760Li will kick S55's and S600 ass. it has around 400 hp rite

?? or am i wrong??

Have u ever seen the S63 AMG V12?!?!?....Wow, the 760iL won't kick that a$$!

anywayZ if we are talking 'bout only the two 'not pictured' cars, I imagine that a 759IL w/ 20' Hartge and some more $hit, would be better than a stock S500 (and V12 RuLeZ!!!!)

...but the new e65 7'series really SuCk$!!!! (but I think in some months I'll get used to it..

In my opinion those big cars arent really made to look aggressive. They are or should be more cushy lux rides. Thats why I take the S. Leave the aggressiveness to the M3's, vettes and so forth.

I wouldn't drive an apartment-worth car out on the street..
use the money to buy a house or apartment is the wise choice

from what you're describing, i'd definitely take the 7 over the s500. but if we're talking about v12 vs. v12, i think i'd go with the MB... esp. if it's the newer model vs. the older BMW model.

btw... ur trying to link to a picture that's on your local HD. either upload them to a site and link them there or attach the images to a post.

I like the 750iL better just because it has 12 cylinders. However, if the S600 is being compared, then I guess I might have to change my mind in that case.

If it was the new 7 vs. the new S, I would go with the S. Just cause I would only buy a big ass car to pimp in. And a black S600 on 22's is big pimpin.

The new 7 just blows ass.
