88 e32 750il help

im getting one for a couple hundred bucks, seems like a steal, only problem is power steering is making an annoying noise, and is kinda not working, weres the reservoir, sry if i sound stupid but i reall couldn locate it, i thought i did, i found something wit ha green sticker saying something about oil on the drivers side, i took it off then i took out this metal filter thing and there was no fluid in it, but is that the ac drier, i just saw that part on ebay, so im guessing now its not power steering but ac crap? help, photos would help, is it on the other side? im new to bmws
