Buying a 7 and have a qeustion

I am looking at a 1994 740i and the guy said the car is perfect except the brake pedal. When you push on it stays in the down position and it doesn't spring back. How can it be fixed and how much will it cost. Thanks

Sounds to me like the return spring in the master cylinder is bad. It can certainally be fixed, just need a new master cylinder. Cost? Not sure, I would fix it soon lol.
