BMW 745 Question

Hi, i'm looking into purchasing a 745 but ive heard from allot of people that they have allot of problems? so i was wondering if this was just on a certain year? I am looking to buy a used one so what would be a good year that doesnt have problems.

you should check out bimmerforums where they have a lot more info (and a dedicated 7's section)
I have an 02 and a 05 and love em both...worry free outside of standard servicing

The guideline for this sort of thing is usually the newer the better. 02's will have more problems than any other year because the car was brand new at the time, and the bugs had yet to be worked out.
