Hi just read ur artical with intrest,ive got a 1990 750il,and just got my car back,from havin my 4 speed auto trans re-conditioned,took it to ,a specalist,transmision company,thay said it was going 2 take a week 2 fix ,but it took them 3 weeks! at a cost of ,1600 pounds ,
but then,my car as done 170,000 miles!
the unit was working ,but used 2 judder,wen puting it into gear,and then when changing gear!
the man said it was stuck in high pressure mode due to bits of worn metal in the oil lines.
i hope urs is not as bad as that,but still ,4 a new car it should be smoth as !
And ive herd a lot of bad reports on various things not working on new 7s
i think there just to complex for there own good!!!!
and when somthing minor does occur ,and u take it 2 ur main dealer to try and fix,5/10 thay wont find it!!
