 Transmissions stutters when put in drive... Hey all, I have an 02' 745LI. I noticed that when I put the car in drive from the park position, the car stutters into gear. It is a very shallow and slight stutter, but when you pay $55K for a car, no stutter is the only acceptable option. When I brought it to the dealer, they said they checked it out and found nothing wrong, but as soon as I get home- STUTTER! Anyone have any insight on what's this about? Could the dealer be intentonally avoiding a very costly repair that they are aware of? Help!      |

| take it to a different BMW dealership. Or a BMW Mechanic and get a 2nd opinion. This one time my dad's car was making weird noises when he turned the wheel, i told him it was his power steering, he took it to the mechanic and they said nothing was wrong, that all fluids were full. Then the next day he took it to the GM dealership and they told him that his PS Fluid was low. SO go to an actual certified BMW mechanic. |
