Cool FYI curb weight of my 740iL

Ran to the local Waste Management scale near my house at had my car weighed...nose, rear, and total. Total with me in the car tipping in at 230 and 1/4 tank of gas was 4340. 2260 in the front and 2080 in the rear, making the cars weight distribution at 52/48 bias, but remember if you take out the fat kid from the front seat that would be 49/51....pretty damn close to me I'm sure someone knows what fuel weighs per gallon, but I have no idea. The only things I have done to lighten the car is remove all the air filters (hood/dash), panels under the dash (no more chime!), engine cover, carbon fiber intake tube w/filter, padding behind rear seat in the trunk, took out the metal plate where the skibag would go, and swapped in an Optima Red Top battery.....ya, so I MIGHT have saved like a pound, but whatever . It is a work in progress, I am loving the fact that I can actually set my speaker phone in the old phones cradle and be able to hear totally fine

Old, the luxo barge is newer than yours is I like the flatter wider body of mine than that of the newer rounded out style. I felt the same way about my 91 M5 compared to my buddys 01 M5, I just wasn't a huge fan of the exposed headlights, kinda wish they made a conversion kit to update the front end a little, ya know!

Ya, if you guys wanna see what the fat kid is capable of, check out the Pacific NW forum, and then the Golden Gardens meeting. There was maybe like 20 of us for a meet, and 4 of us broke out and did a little drive to Issaquah and had some fun in a elementary school parking lot, just look here for the pics of me tossing around the barge

you cannot remove 230lbs from the front axle. you are sitting in the middle/left of the car, your weight is distributed most to the left two wheels, not the front two.

a gallon of gas weigh's 5.8-6.5lbs

a gallon of water weigh's 8.33lbs

BTW, my truck weigh's 6790
