I was trying to find out if the updates on the 99+ 7 series like the headlights and tail lights can be retrofitted on a pre-99 7 series the same body style???? Also can the big sized navigation screen be retrofitted into a 7 series that didn't come with that option? thanks for any advice

my 98 740il has a nav so its not only 99

I don't believe that it's possible to retrofit the nav in there i've heard discussion about it before

is it possible to retrofit the headlights and body molding from the 2001 model onto say a 97 740iL??

yea that is possible headlights/ taillamps can be retrofited and you can buy that chrome strip for the back trunk

The fenders are slightly different, you can do some minor body work to the fenders and they will fit, but you will have to repaint.
