| Subs don't get louder with speakers (top end)??
Hey guys... I have an Eclipse 8051 head unit (8v preouts) to 2 amps (one for speakers, one for subs). Volume goes up to "80". As I dial it up to 50, 60, the speakers and subs are at equal levels (sound "right). But when I start getting up past 60, the speakers get louder, but the subs don't seem to get much louder.
Is this the sub amp reaching it's limits, or the subs themselves? They're JL10W0's in a custom box, running 60w RMS each or so off a Sony amp. |
