i'm sure the car will be an apt perfomer (and the M6 variant will be a BEAST indeed!). im just not too hot about the styling direction the company is taking. unlike most car enthusiasts, im not a pushover. a car being butt ugly unfortunately will sway my decision in buying one.

yea those are Ca plates....and i do like the interior, not an iDrive to be seen! Seriously tho, i love the E24, i will be heartbroken if BMW ****s up the new 6er after how timeless the E24 is.

The front looks a little Pontiac-ish, not bad but it does look like it. Kinda like their new GTO they are coming out with. The rear on the other hand looks like another Bangle Butt.

I love it, its gonna look hot, and Id buy one- that interior is especially gorgeous. Just wait until you see the finished item and I guarantee people wll change their minds. This is no E65, its a Z4 but better... and everyone HATED that at first, now most people seem to love it (including me).

Just MO obviously, but revive this thread when official pictures are launched. It will go from 'oh thats not so bad' to Actually I quite like it.' Then someone will post an A C Schnitzer fettled version and we will all want one.

But you cant possibly tell yet. Too much disguise. Yes, you know its going to be reminicent of the E65 but I think its gonna be more integrated on this coupe...just have faith

Oh you can definitely possibly tell.. just cause the headlight has a mask, that doesn't say much. Ok so maybe it'll have nice headlights, but i doubt that too.. the rear is ass ugly. Regardless of the details, the shape of the car just isn't BMW. Whatever, i wouldn't be buying one anyway! Sorry but if i'm dropping those kind bills on a convertible, it's gonna be a 996 Cabriolet or the SL55 AMG.. NOT that gross 6er.

i still hate the e65 and e85 styling cues i really don't care for bullshit justifications on how the company's survival is pinned on drastic changes in styling; imo BMW ****ed up bigtime. they may make money, but their customer base and loyalty will be changing incredibly in the not too distant future.

i agree with alex; for that dough, i'd rather have something that looked good, even if it doesnt wear a roundel.
