saaaad sight....stupid lady backed into my car WHILE IT WAS IN THE SHOP....talk about dream crusher...it still looks like this to this day

My dad just sold his MINT condition 1986 M635csi... Had gone less than 50,000 kilometers. I miss it...

For an old car, it really hauled ass. I'll look around for pics, but I'm not sure I have any. Great car, I love E24's.

hey was wondering if any of you guys know if they is a complete tear down and rebuild owners manual for the e24 6 series??? i have an owners handbook but im looking for something that tells me how to do it not just brief info on what that component does.

You have a couple of choices. The first, there were no manuals (Bentleys and the like) for the E 24. Your option: Find a five series manual for the year span of your car. Early cars (E 12) later cars (E 28). Suspensions are the same as well as drive trains. Second option: Find a factory manual (good luck), (watch E-bay). BMW does offer a cd-rom for the 6 series. It has a problem, that being; your computer has to have LESS than 512 ram or it will not work (can anyone say Windows 98??).
A place to look is: books4cars.com. They have a shit load of manuals (or can get them).
