Latest 6 Series Spy Pixs

Quoting a UK web site:

"Here are exclusive pictures of the new 6-Series coupe, with a future range topping M6 with a secret V10 500Bhp engine, to debut in 2004 a year after the 6 & 8 cylinder models arrive to take on the Mercedes SL. The 5 Litre V10 will be able to rev to 8000Rpm & should be able to defeat the SL's 0-60 of 4.6Secs & top speed over over 202Mph (But it is likely that the M6 will be electronically restricted to 155Mph). The forthcoming M6 is likely to cost £90,000. The new 6-Series is likely to start at £38,000 at today's prices with the 630Ci, which goes on sale from next year

The entry version of the four seater is to be build on the next generation 5-Series platform, & will also run the straight six 231Bhp engine from the 5-Series. It will incorporate fuel-saving valvetronic technology (currently not available on the straight sixes).
Two V8's are planned to form a 635Ci 3.6 with 272Bhp & the 645Ci will incorporate the 4.4Litre 329Bhp
Forward from the windscreen is largely aluminium bonded & riveted to the main steel chassis.

At 100Kg the M6 is likely to have 315Bhp per tonne, the SL has 238Bhp per tonne.

Drive is through the rear wheels using the six-speed automatic gearbox by ZF introduced in the new 7-Series, with the SMG as an option.

It is to be laiden with gadgets, including brake-by-wire as well as Dynamic Drive. Dynamic Drive employs a hydraulic pump to act on the anti-roll bars, ironing out the body roll & enhance grip, it will also use electronic damping to adjust ride settings, from limo-like to racecar response. The iDrive will control most of the multi-cabin functions via a LCD screen.

Your notice that the headlamps resemble the Z9 concept & the convertible version will follow using a soft-top as a hard-top is not feasible due to the weight & packaging."

I dont mind it, i just think the rear end should go. I just dont think the back is very appealing. But I do like the fact that they are bringing back the six series, especially with an availible V10.
