Put on new tyres a few weeks back, had to get one rim fixed up (had some cracks in it), fortunately I have 6 of those BBS rims (car came with 6 BBS 16" rims and one metric rim when I bought it).

New tyres are Yokohama C-Drives, like 'em a lot

Had an incident where I had to get towed (turned out to be a motronic relay) and the tow truck operator dammaged my front spoiler, so need to fix that.

Love the car

, hate the fuel economy

lots of roadworks near me atm, slow bumper to bumper crawl does not help

I love old 6er's, too bad they are a huge pain in the ass to take apart. Ive had the luxury of parting out a couple old m6's and M635csi's.

Well, I guess that crap happens. You have a beautiful car and we all can see you are proud of it. Mine is still in pieces and I dream of the day it runs (not too far off). I see you have been having some nasty storms up north!! Bill

Yeah shit does happen, I guess if it wasn't worth it to me I'd drive something else, I do love the car, I also love seeing other 6ers, I always wave when I see one

It is one of the two Cyclone seasons up north (the other is December/January), one of the hazards of living in the tropics, we get some of the effects of it this far south, huge seas last week or so, great if you surf

your lucky its not as common as E36's.... im pretty sure theyre tired of the neighbourhood hoon that beeps and waves at them

i also might like to put a note that EVERYTHING in this car is electronic.... even the headrests!!!!

best car ive seen in ages, and the sound when it overtakes you with lots of revs on board, sounds light, yet beasty..... mmmmm

An update. 2 years, 2 months & 10 days since I bought it

So what have I done since Nov 05.

Replaced AC Evaporator, TX Valve & Reciever Drier (*OUCH* Expensive)
Replaced Indicator Relay
Replaced Viscous Fan Coupling
Replaced Heater Fan Assembly
Replaced Gear Linkage
Replaced Fuel Pre & Main Pumps (Ouch!)
Replaced Air Conditioning Compressor (Ouch!)
Replaced Radiator Cap

Also a new set of Tyres, and had the car fixed after an accident

Another expensive year, but if I was worried by the cost I'd buy something else to drive.

All of the air conditioning repairs are needed to maintain health & sanity, its a black car in Australia, 'nuff said.

Actualy for a 20 year old car it holds up very very well, I do drive it most days.

Yes I love it, I'm probably mad but it gives me great pleasure to drive it.

I'll take some more pictures next weekend, its dirty at the moment and looks like it will rain if I wash the car

Beautiful car, and as for repairs that is not bad at all! Look at my thread and what I have done and I think daily on upgrading to a newer BMW, but then drive the car and can't force myself to sell it.
