O.K. folks, here's the deal, when I get started on the Willys, I'll start a new thread. That way everything stays separate. As far as the Willys goes, that's about two months off. Will let you know.

Well, here it is, Thanksgiving weekend. I HAD to do something to the car. Previously, I had to put up a new tarp for a door to hold whatever heat I could generate in (it got up to 38*f today). Got that done. I managed to change out the rear interior. The original was tan (I hate tan), the new is black. To say the least, the difference is "bad ass" compaired to the old. I'll post pics. later. Bill

Well, my son and I got a little bit done today. The weather has been down right lousy (cold and rain). I'm not going to complain, we have been in a drought and the water is much needed.
All we got done was to move the car over closer to the heat, get it up on stands and start to disconnect wires, hoses and the like. It's a start and that's the hardest part of any project, getting started.
Sorry, no pics. at this time, will post some soon.

Things have been going slow, some of it is time and some the cold weather. Since last post, I have managed to remove the exhaust, driveline and misc. stuff. I get tired of tearing it appart and start putting things back on the way I want them (it all has to be done sometime). I did find an analog clock on e-bay, now I hav all the parts to put the dash totally original, it's going to be cool.
I have a problem with the program for my camera, for some reason, my computer no longer likes it. I have tried re-enstalling to no avail. I am going to have to use my son's and email pics. to myself. I'll get some photos soon.

The thing that's really got me pissed about the computer is I do know a bit about it. I lost a hard drive and everything on it (fried). So, I thought I'd be smart and replace it with a pair of SATA drives on a RAID configutation, which I did. Got almost everything loaded and it started to crash, I was so pissed, I pulled out an old small drive I had and have been using it. I think I have the RAID thing figured out now and am waiting for a weekend to re-do everything. The fun of being a pseudo-techno-geek!!!

Good to see someone dedicated to restoring a true classic. Keep up the good work and don't forget to keep the pictures comming, they make the story! I am very interested to see this project continue. I wish i had the dedication to do something like that. Good Luck
