Older BMW 6 Series Engine Swap??

Does anyone know about engine swaps for a 1982-1986 BMW 6 Series. I was wondering if anyone has swapped a engine from a car other than a BMW into a 6 series?

what other kind of engine like an ls1 or something?

anything! i remember seeing pics of a V12 6 series, kool but the V12 will need lots of fabrication and $$$ in order for it to work. Drop an LS1 or LS6 in it if you want some real power. Its all aluminum and probly weighs about the same if not less than the M30 already in the 6. And you can get some real power out of it too.

They make 350 chevy swap kits for them. I dont know where you buy one, but I have seen one in real life, the car was sick but the 350 in it totally turned me off. Chevy engines in bmws are uber ghey
