Hey guys,
Our family heirloom, the 1988 635CSi/A is for sale. We bought the car new in 1989 from Century (now New Century) in Alhambra, Ca where it was the last 6er sold new from there. It was owned by my dad until 1993 when we sold it to my uncle, who kept it garaged in Idaho for most of its life, making only brief stints outside the garage. It was bought back from him in 2002, when I got my driver's license, and I drove it for a few months until I got my current car.
The car is luxomburg beige on tan interior. It is close to, if not fully loaded, there isn't an option that I can think of that it doesnt have. The car was the top of the line, and its very comfortable. The seats are in decent condition, with the driver's side bolster showing slight wear, but not horrible. The passenger's side is very nice, and the rest of the interior is great. The rear seats are practically mint, and its always been a nonsmoker's car, so there are no wierd odors. The stock radio was replaced by a sony MP3 headunit, and it sounds good. There are black floormats to replace the stock tan ones, as there is a coffee stain on the stock floormats.
It currently has 862xx miles, and is in excellent mechanical condition. It is a automatic, with the ZF 4speed. The car pulls quite hard, and sounds great. The front suspension was replaced at 84k miles, so its very solid. It has stock 540i BBS 16" mesh wheels that look very nice on the car, with about 25% tread left on each. The brakes are great, with new rotors and pads in the front.
If you have any questions, PM or email me, and I'll get back to you. We are asking $6850obo. Here's a picture for ya, more availible upon request.
