uh, I'm pretty sure that's not a production wing b/c that would surely break the flame-surfacing Mr. Bangle loves so much.

Seriously, they put all sorts of weird things on test cars in order to hide the looks of the car.

The 6-series is absolutely gorgeous. Just like all the new designs, photos simply do not do them justice. I don't think the cameras can discern the very subtle nuances that the human eye can perceive when you look at them in person.

I agree. Pictures of the new 7er and the Z4 don't do those cars justice. I think people will begin to agree that the new 5er will be awesome once they see it in person.

Part of the unfortunate consequence of the controversial exterior styling is that it is overshadowing the beautiful new interiors and technology being used in the new BMWs.

It's at the NUrburgring so they are probably experimenting with downforce and other technical stuff.

However, the back of the car is totally flat.. making it ideal to put some kind of wing there. That particular car (production or not) was designed for that wing - or so it seems.
