I dont think the ///M spirit would be tarnished by 4 doors (///M5 is a damn good representation of BMW///Mpower), BUT I do believe that the ///M3 in essence and true form should be 2 doors. Its original intention was for performance and racing. ///M has strayed greatly with its ever-so-much-heavier cars and luxurious interiors. I have nothing against them, but to my understanding of what the ///M3 was built for, it should be better suited as a coupe. My cousin has a 4 door E36 ///m3 and I love it, Im only judging on what the primary aim of the ///M3 was, not on my personal aesthetic opinion. I dont really care about how the car looks as a car, but the ///M3 should, IMO, be a 2 door, but I understand the marketing stance that ///M has taken in the last decade and the need to cater to the people with money and no understanding of racing (yuppies) so I dont really care. As long as we have our 2 doors, Im cool. Let BMW make more money, as it is my preacher and my church that I actually believe in.

Note* I have nothing against 4 door ///M3s. I was just voicing my personal opinion on what the ///m3 was FIRST traditionally built for. ok?
