| head gasket that's where a lot of the labor time/money will be. Heads need to be pulled off, big PITA. Plus you've got to have someone who can tune your Vanos and camshafts to the AA turbo specs, unless the gentleman with the shop can do it himself.
If you're planning to do a 3.2L swap or whatever (unless I misunderstood), I'd wait and do the turbo then. Save big $$$ in install costs and downtime for your car.
