For 8g's less that "Jap" car would be in my garage over that 330i. Not only is quality probably better on that "Jap" car, I imagine maintance and repairs are less.
You said it yourself, the G35 performed very will against the 330i. Does 8000 justify its small shortcomings? yes.
And for that last what you rather tell people you drive, please. If you buy a car for the name plate thats pathetic.
