E30 Evo motor conversion...

My friend has a '89 M3 and wants to convert the motor from 2.3L to a 2.5L evo motor. He e-mailed me a list of what he wants to do. He wanted me to look over it, so I was going to ask you guys if he's heading in the right direction. Thanks, I figure that you guys would know best!

E30 M3 2.5 liter conversion:

-Evo 3 2.5liter crankshaft with all crank bearings $699
-Crank bolt for 2.5 $10
-Crank washer for 2.5 $10
-Conrod bearings $105
-Conrod bolts $90
-Evo 3 2.5liter oil pump $195
-Timing chain $110
-Slide rail $45
-Chain tensioner upper $190
-Chain tensioner lower $290
-Wiseco 2.5 liter 10.2:1 pistons $750 set of 4(rings included), or BMW Evo Pistons $1000 for set of 4
-Upper and lower engine gasket set $475(includes every single gasket + head gasket)
-Evo 3 2.5 fuel injectors $400 set of 4
-Evo 3 2.5 air flow meter $375
-Schrick camshaft kit - includes 284 intake cam , 276 exhaust cam, set of valve springs, set of retainers $1695. Optional larger schrick valves $500.

Suggested options for better performance:
-Evo 3 2.5 larger throttle bodies and air horns $1,900
-Evo 3 throttle body gasket set $195
-2.5 race header $950

You donot need to get these options. Your engine will work without them and you can add them latter. They would just help you engine breath a little better.

This is ever single part you would need to build a killer 2.5 liter S14 motor.

Those are his ideas. Does it look like in the future he will be heading the right way.

Would you have any other suggestion for the E30 M3 for more power besides an Evo motor conversion?

Thanks
Cheers
