Now my system is comming with a install CD-Rom. Did you not get this? I was told this is a 20min install! What do you think?
Glad I could be of some help.

Hmm... I didn't get any CD with the install and the photocopied instructions were far from great, but the install isn't really that hard. If I had to do it again, I'm sure I could it in about 30 minutes but doing it the first time with just instructions and no nice pictures or hints made for slow going.

I'd have to agree with some of Gaffes' point. The remote unit could be better designed and the buttons are kinda hard to press. However, the range on my unit is great. Then again, I also spent lots of time running the antenna away from other electronics. I ended up routing it under the far vent on the passenger side.

The thing I dislike most about the kit is the way they wanted you to mount the blinking "armed" LED. Cutting a hole in pop-out on the console is such an unelegant solution. On Stellar's defense, the factory BMW alarm does the same thing.. Spending the extra time and money on the euro alarm LED is worth it.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
