The Versatile Link uses an adapter to allow the connection of any RCA audio input (line level). Like an AUX input. I think the adapter is around $20. Ai-Net is a different bus that has 2-way communication. The deck has the ability to interpret whether there's a 6 disc or 12 disc CD changer attached and interact accordingly. I believe it also allows daisy chaining changers. Not sure about that though.

As I said in my other reply, almost all the 2002 Alpines will have mp3 capability. There are at least 3 decks with amber buttons. And, there are 2 swing out face decks with a 1.3 DIN face. Some pretty cool stuff. They also have a few decks with all 3 preouts at 4v.
