| I contacted a salvage guy who told me the motor must mount to that trans and it won't fit on my 525 bell housing. I would need the motor, trans and a custom drive shaft to fit it to the wagon. The wagon is pretty slow. The swap doesn't really sound too bad but I might just pull the trans and have my neighbor rebuild it. He is a professional mechanic and offered, if I bring him the trans on a pallet, to rebuild it for parts. If his offer is still good it makes more sense to put the car back together and drive or sell it.
