Hi 6piston,
I am preparing to swap my 750iL's M70 into a project car and am experienced enough to know I need to do more research and planning before I turn working cars into non-running projects. I am very interested in what manual throttle bodies you used and if you think you would go back at some point. I'd like to avoid the added complexity of drive-by-wire from the gas pedal to the related computer and wiring harness. Also, when you still had the manual trans in, is it grossly oversimplifying to say you simply removed the auto with all the related harness/computer and engine still ran? Or was there much engine/transmission interconnection electronically that needed to be modified? Thank you for pioneering the hard stuff and being willing to share!
