it's more expensive in the US because of all the crap you have to do to get it here. first is the import cost (which if it's comming directly from japan, it's insane). then comes the paper work of actually getting it legal here. you have to change a good dead of the emissions and stuff like that. you also have to try and get it registered. see, you can't register a skyline in the US. when you purchace one here, all paper work will say Nissan 240sx. it's the only way around it. so because of the import cost, emissions red tape, and the paperwork process, the price is jacked up for us here. sucks.
