Yes! It is posible. The Turbo for an E34 is something I have looked into a bit. A good Turbo setup for our car (Mine is a 90 525i) is about 5 grand or better. You can get some tips from
BMW E34 5 series Website under the sub section "Racing". they talk about Turbo and superchargers. They allso have links on that page to a few vendors that you can get info from.
