| i have a 2004 x5 4.4l in the shop right now and i just replaced the starter. and my car started up just fine, after i did the oil change and brakes, and went to pull it off the lift, my car wouldnt start. everything works no power to the starter tho. its either mi ecu is not supplying power to the immobilizer, or my immobilizer is shot. but i dont understand how any of this could have happened with a simple change of oil and brakes? does anyone have any idea that they could give on what my problem is.
