this is a really common problem, almost every climate control unit will fail like this at some point, basically there is a resistor inside the actual climate control panel that goes, you can either get a new/recon/2nd hand control panel, find a company that repairs them (plenty on ebay) alternatively there are a few people on ebay that sell the resistor and step by step instructions on a cd on how to change it, if you arent that technically minded i wouldnt recommend the last one but at roughly £5-£6 its certainly the cheapest.
