| Here's one for you: I recently bought an 03 M3 with the H-K system. I'm an audiophile but don't want to break the bank upgrading the car stereo--maybe $2k all in. I've read about this and am under the impression that the head unit may be okay but that I should change speakers and the subs/amp in the rear. What is your opinion of the BSW upgrades? And are there alternatives that I should consider? Perhaps I should consider changing the head unit as well (which would enable me to plug in my Ipod without going through what seems to me to be a pretty wasteful expenditure of $150-300 to install an interface)? Thanks for any thoughts. |
