what yr, make, and model? is the resivoir full? the bleeder valve closed? does it leak fluid when you press the brakes? on e30's the break and clutch resivoir are the same thing. so if you have a hole in either brake or clutch line or anywhere for that matter there wouldn't be any pressure to operate them. is there a return spring for your pedal? did this just happen sitting in your garage? why don't you just push it out of the way untill you can diagnose.
