Fuel tank vent valve - must be a valve between the gas tank and the carbon canister that closes temporarily after the car warms up so that the engine can pull a vacuum on the carbon canister to regenerate it.

I would look for the simple stuff related to fuel vapor - damage to gas cap or neck, damage to the hoses to the vapor canister, damage to the vapor lines under the car.

That valve must be electric. Find a valve on a hose to the carbon canister and check its wire and plug. I don't know where your carbon canister is, but designers usually put them in a crush section somewhere near the front bumper. They are cheap and light, but a little bulky, so that is a good place for them. Follow the vacuum hoses from your intake manifold. One of them will probably disappear into the bodywork. That will be the one that leads to the vapor canister.
