Yeah, I could see that. I had a friend who had a GTI vr6, and I rode in it a few times. I never drove it, but it was fun to ride in, especially on the back roads. But I did enjoy driving my 318is on the back roads though, even though it was underpowered, the rwd was fun, and it handled really well for a (at the time) 11 year old car.
I miss that car
