| Standard there are 6 speakers, but if it has the harmon kardon upgrade I think its 8. Speakers are in the kickwell, door cards and rear shelf.
The kickwell speakers are 5 1/4" and the rear shelf ones are the same size. The tweeter in the door card is just normal size, but changing them is a bit fiddly as you have to bond the new tweets onto the card. Personally I've never got on with them as I think the staging is a bit off, so mine are disconnected and i have my tweets on the a-pillar.
You can get adapters so that you can fit 6x9's in the rear shelf if thats your thing and if the 5 1/4" speakers aren't to your liking in the kickwell you can get pods that will take 6" speakers. |
