1992, I don't think you have vanos... If you don't then no, this swap isn't for you. If you have vanos then yes, enjoy it and get the proper tune. 220 @ the wheels with ALL the right toys is able.
If you're a non vanos engine like I suspect, buy a 262 schrick intake cam and put your stock intake cam on the exhaust side. Same lift and duration as an M but with double valve springs. Good stuff. And get some pink top (22 pounds) fuel injectors from a 95 M3, should be cheap since they all upgrade to 24.
