My mum drives the 120d here in Australia but i am thinking about my next car in 4 years time when i am tired of my Mazda, and i was thinking of the 120d in the coupe.

Should have searched the web before asking. It seems Australia will miss out on the diesel. The 120d is a good little car, great performance to match the fuel efficiency.

This is a rather good write up from an Australian site, mainly focusing on the 135i, but also briefly going over the other engines in the range.
