Sorry for not rightfully continuing the thread but have been swamped at work if you look at the link to myspace from profile you'll see what I've been doing (69 Alfa Romeo GT this and next week) anyhow, my 327 stroker is going fine, lots of pics on myspace of the cracked Super ETA head, the new "i" head, 272 cam etc. since it's not going to be hard to produce more cars after I do this to mine I figure I'll just save the CNC program if anyone is interested after they see mine, I'll be happy to cut and pre assemble some to ship out. I have a pic of the rear area now if you guys would like to see on here, cheers, I'll definatly keep you posted.

PS the weight is only a few ounces more per pannel than factory e30 M3 ones, since they are just a bit wider, the CNC cutting allows me to have very few welds, hence the weight is virtually the same. And oh... the areas under the pannels are indeed cut off as well so very little weight is added overall, maybe 1/2 pound per side F/R, 22 gauge metal is not that heavy, most of the weight in a car comes from suspension and moving parts (drivetrain, engine tranny etc,) these would also fit the M3 but would make more sense in a regular e30, the open design , again is to try and pull as much of the underside air as possible and placing it in the trailing end of the pressure created by the car.
