I didnt say it couldnt be done with a 4", but over the 1100whp mark, you might start to benefit from a 4.5" or 5". Ive seen a Porsche 951 (944 Turbo) running in excess of 470whp on the stock sized 2.5" diameter piping. Its not that it cant be done, it just would make better power without the exhaust bottleneck.
