| Although the longevity of the turbos have yet to be proven, the amount of the N54's potential that's been tapped into by tuners, is like an ice cube chipped off of a titanic-sinking iceberg. Unless I was looking to drive the car in that state for over 200,000 miles without refreshing the motor, worrying about the motor's longevity with a tune+exhaust wouldn't even register on my radar. That being said, it will take some time before the real potential of the N54 is truly discovered. Look how long it took for the limits of the M/S5x motors to be tapped. Granted, the aftermarket FI support for those motors will ultimately pale in comparison to the support that is brewing for the N54, which will result in quicker discovery of the motor's weaknesses...that being said, it's going to take a TON of power before people really have to build these motors.
