the noise was coming from a relay by the shade...BMW Seattle said that the motor was broken and it would need to be replaced by them so $$$$$$$$$$$ let's just say I wasn't willing to pay their ridiculous price to fix it
But I guess it's my own fault for owning B.M.W.'s
