No hes talking about the M20B27 (E30 eta engine), the M20B25 (E30 i engine)the number after the B is the displacement. Like the S50B30 or the S50B32 is the 3.0 liter US E36 ///M3 engine and the 3.2L version. One more example would be the S54B32. Alpina does also have the B designation but thats the external nomenclature. Like the B10 Bi-turbo, B7S Turbo, B3 3.3, B12, etc.
